Client Portal
Portal terms of use
Applies to the SemperWise client portal. Last updated 9 August 2026.
1. Who we are
SemperWise Technologies, Keeranatham, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Contact info@semperwise.com.
2. What the portal is for
The portal is provided to clients of SemperWise to register assets, request and track security assessments, and receive findings, evidence and reports. It is not a public service and access is granted per organisation.
3. Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for the actions of users you invite into your organisation's account. Tell us immediately at info@semperwise.com if you believe an account has been compromised.
4. Authorisation to test โ the important one
Security testing against systems you do not own or control is unlawful in most jurisdictions. By registering an asset or requesting an assessment you confirm that:
- your organisation owns the target, or holds documented permission from the owner to have it tested;
- the person submitting the request is authorised to give that permission;
- you have notified any hosting or cloud provider whose terms require it.
We record who authorised each assessment, over what scope, and when. We may decline or halt any assessment where authorisation is unclear, and we will do so rather than proceed on assumption.
5. How assessments run
Assessments follow the published engagement model: Scope โ Authorise โ Test โ Report โ Remediate โ Retest. Depending on the arrangement agreed with your organisation, requests are either reviewed by us before they run, or may run automatically within a scope we have already approved in writing. Your current setting is shown in the portal.
6. Findings and reports
Findings are produced by automated tooling and reviewed by our team before they are released to you. A finding is a statement about a point in time; it is not a warranty that a system is secure, and remediation remains your responsibility. A retest cycle is included in every testing engagement at no extra cost.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use the portal to request testing of third-party systems without authority, to upload malware or unlawful content, or to attempt to access another organisation's data. We may suspend access where we reasonably believe this clause has been breached.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the portal available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scanning capacity is finite and queued work runs in turn. Current status is at /status.
9. Confidentiality
Engagement data is confidential. We do not publish client names: security testing engagements are covered by non-disclosure. Any separate NDA or master services agreement between us takes precedence over these terms where they conflict.
10. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the portal. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with the courts at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu having jurisdiction.
